[Bullet] Mention Saint Sophia Camp and Retreat Center to many orthodox baby boomers today and two things happen. Instantly loving memories of warm summer days filled with laughter, swimming, hiking, singing around the campfire, religious education, and friendships that would last a lifetime come to mind. Secondly – almost simultaneously – they think of sharing the gifts gathered at St. Sophia Camp with their own children.

To these former "St. Sophia Campers" and even their parents, it's only natural that the number one choice for their own children's or grandchildren's summer activities includes Saint Sophia Camp.

Essentially, to all of us – today's campers, their parents, and even their grandparents – St. Sophia Camp remains a welcome constant in our lives – a place unique to our heritage and background – a place from which we gathered valuable childhood lessons and lasting friendships – a place (unlike many these days) we feel comfortable sending our children – a camp very much like a family where our children will hopefully gain as much as we did and more.
